“The line, named McQ Alexander McQueen for Target, will be inspired by British rock band The Duke Spirit and will be priced within the retailer’s cheap-chic price range. (Designer Jonathan Saunder’s current pieces for Target include skirts for $18.89 and dresses for $27.99, for example.) The retailer notes that the new program differs from its GO International lines in which emerging designers like Proenza Schouler and Luella Bartley have created limited-edition lines for Target.” – credit this website for source

Sometime before December, Target’s designer series will feature Thakoon’s premiere Target collection with a Resort type of vibe. I think there is only 1 piece that could possibly be worn immediately, and that would be the multi-color jacket. The piece that interests me the most is the print-heavy Thakoon string dress. NylonMag.com has a look book with all the pieces from the Target collection online now. I don’t usually get all excited when a collection goes to Target though to be honest, because the quality SUCKS, the pieces look like something they might have submitted during an internship, or perhaps had an intern submit, and they ALWAYS smell like sweat shop, no matter how cute they displays are.
