Here is a great example of how to re-mix and interpret runway to real life – AND done by Michelle Obama!! So yes, it can totally be done, let’s not get all panicy and watch with favor to see the new presidential era unfold in front of us. How fun!!!

I have this website on my RSS feed, so of course I was waiting to hear the word that the fashion designers have spoken…and apparantly, DK, DVF and Oscar have spoken. I think that Mrs. O would look amazing in Donna Karan, but only the actual Donna Karan line, NOT DKNY. I’m not sure that Diane Von Furstenburg’s ready to wear would be very flattering on Michelle Obama, but I know for sure that Donna Karan would be AMAZING on her. And as a personal couturier, wouldn’t Korto from Project Runway create some simply fantastic pieces for Mrs. O?? I think it would be a match made in Style Heaven!!!

Ok, I’m almost done with my fall look book list. I’ve gotten most of my stuff from Target, Old Navy, thrift shoppes and ebay, so it’s been super low-cost this season, which everyone is in the same boat and it’s almost as if it’s not in style to spend alot of money!
Times like these make being a fashionistas rise to the top though, because you have to actually HAVE a sense of style to make Target work on your side. Here is my list for things that I am still looking for – maybe you will see something while surfing online and think of me and hopefully send me a link
Still Need:
- Berry shaded tights – not too opaque.
- High waisted dark wash denim
- Skinny gray wash denim
- Trousers
- Black thin-knit turtle neck
- Funky brooch in an animal motif preferrably.
- Bandida boots in chocolate brown or tan. Short heel, but not flats
- Faux fur leapord print swing coat.

ok not really, because I don’t have a boyfriend. But in thinking of a title for this look today, that’s the first thing that came to mind because
1. I’m rocking the knockoff James Perse editor shirt (got mine from Kohls) and 2. a pair of classic Levi’s button fly 501’s. Anyway, I joined a new community on Flickr where you post what you wore today. It’s fun girl time!!!
